PULLMAN, Wash.—A new online pizza delivery and ordering system recently debuted at 17,700-student Washington Sate University.
Stonewall Pizza Express now offers students the ability to order pizza online through wsu.webfood.com and either have it delivered for free to their residence hall or arrange to pick it up at Hillside Café Late Night. Delivery is available from 8:15 p.m. to 12:45 a.m., seven days a week. Students can pay using their resident dining accounts, Cougar Cash or credit cards. Stonewall Pizza Express features 12-inch pizzas such as Thai chicken pizza, barbeque meatball and Hawaiian luau, as well as strombolis.

Another new online feature is the Webfood Fresh Express. Customers can order a meal or snack online, including sandwiches, salads and desserts, which are then picked up at a take-out area at the campus’ espresso bar.

“We’re still starting out slowly,” Gary Coyle, director of dining, said. “We’re doing about 10 to 12 pizzas during the weekend right now. We’d like to increase that still so we’re still promoting it in the student newspaper and online. Also, we are looking at other products that we can add to the Fresh Express program, such as chicken wings and sub sandwiches.”
